




Job Description
The Director of Commercial Effectiveness at Alkermes is looking for a Summer Intern to join us for a 12-week internship in Waltham, MA (Hybrid).
This role is ideal for someone who wants to be engaged, learn by doing, and learn how a Commercial Organization operates. Our team values collaboration, curiosity, and creativity. You’ll work closely with the Director and several Commercial Operations Leaders on key organization initiatives, helping us enhance the effectiveness of the organization.
Responsibilities

- Support the development of commercial planning by assisting with research, analysis, and presentation preparation.
- Help coordinate omnichannel marketing technology initiatives, including documentation, testing, and training materials.
- Work closely with Field and Marketing Operations teams to collect and analyze performance metrics.
- Collaborate with team members on identifying process improvement opportunities and proposing innovative solutions.
- Contribute to cross-functional meetings and workshops by preparing agendas, capturing action items, and drafting recaps.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications/Requirements
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Healthcare or related field
- Strong communication, organization and problem-solving skills.
- Interest in biotech, healthcare industry or commercial operationsis a plus!
- Proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel and a willingness to learn new digital tools
- Team oriented, proactive and eager to contribute
- Ability to work a hybrid office schedule in our Waltham office
