Job Title: WebFocus Developer
Location:Hybrid to SE MI
Job Description:
We are seeking a WebFocus Developer with experience in building data products on a cloud analytics platform. The successful candidate will work on data extraction, transformation, and loading into GCP, as well as WebFocus integration to support the Enterprise Data Factory on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). Experience with WebFocus, QlikSense, and Alteryx is essential. We are looking for candidates with a broad set of technical skills across these areas.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate in a paired programming environment.
- Work on a small agile team to deliver enterprise modernization by migrating data to GCP.
- Collaborate effectively with software engineers, product owners, data champions, and other technical experts.
- Demonstrate technical knowledge and communication skills to advocate for well-designed solutions.
Required Skills:
- 10+ years of overall IT experience.
- 5+ years of experience developing in a WebFocus environment.
- 5+ years of experience developing QlikSense dashboards.
- 5+ years of experience developing Alteryx workflows.
- Excellent communication, analytical, problem-solving, and planning skills.
- Ability to function well as a team member and work independently.
- Motivated professional (results-oriented and self-starter).
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with Agile practices.
Required Experience:
- 10+ years of overall IT experience.
- 5+ years of experience developing in a WebFocus environment.
- 5+ years of experience developing QlikSense dashboards.
- 5+ years of experience developing Alteryx workflows.
Preferred Experience:
- Strong knowledge and experience with WebFocus version 8, App-Studio, InfoAssist, Business Views, and Portals.
- Experience in data modeling is a plus.
- Experience in Java is a plus.
Education:
- BS in Computer Science or a related field.
