As the National Director of Health Informatics, you will lead a team of health informatics directors dedicated to bringing life-changing medicines to millions of people. ViiV, a leading pharmaceutical company, is committed to merging cutting-edge medical science with innovative digital technology.

This role will provide YOU the opportunity to lead key activities to progress YOUR career. These responsibilities include some of the following:

Shape the Health Information Technology Strategy and gain alignment and support from leadership across ViiV.
Identify and develop HIT market shaping opportunities between ViiV and relevant HIT vendors, influencers, policy makers, customers, or multiple stakeholders within key market ecosystems.
Capture actionable insights about health systems and other organized customers to facilitate access to ViiV’s portfolio of medicines.
Serve as a training advisor and technical support to the broader organization, assisting them in understanding various EHR technologies and their situational application.
Provide valuable input into the development of approved, scalable, EHR-enabled tools and resources for key therapeutic areas.

Why you?

Basic Qualifications:

We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:

Bachelor's degree required and 5 plus years of experience in business
5 plus years of experience in Health Information Technology (HIT), healthcare systems, and electronic health records (EHR)
Project management experience
Experience influencing without authority.
Experience translating technical concepts to non-expert stakeholders.
Knowledge of the health IT landscape, including the inter-relationships of key players in the health information technology space.

Preferred Qualifications:

Ability to effectively lead diverse teams, meet deadlines, and monitor and evaluate results.
Proven intellectual curiosity and willingness to take prudent risks, appropriately pushing boundaries to drive transformative outcomes.
Strategic thinking, accountability, self-starter, and results orientation
Hands-on experience working with top EHR products and vendors.
Technical certifications in EHR, RHIA/RHIT, HIMSS, or AMIA
High level of emotional intelligence, with strengths in collaboration, interpersonal skills, and client success.
Excellent organizational, written, and oral communication skills, along with strong presentation skills.
