Position Overview
We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Videographer to join our team, responsible for both pre-production planning and post-production editing. The purpose of this video is to dispel misconceptions around Hormone Replacement Therapy in the Transgender/LGBTQIA (specifically Black/Latino/Hispanic) community. This project is managed by the Clinical Research Program and is supported by two focus groups who will review the storyboard concept and make suggestions if needed. The messaging and content that needs to be conveyed in the video will be provided to the videographer. The videographer will then create a storyboard for the 3 minute long video and present that to the focus groups. Upon storyboard approval, the videographer can begin shooting the footage and editing.
Key Responsibilities
- Create detailed storyboards to outline video concepts and scripts.
- Shoot high-quality video footage for various projects, ensuring optimal lighting and sound.
- Edit video content using industry-standard software, incorporating graphics and effects as needed.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to conceptualize and develop video campaigns that engage our audience.
- Manage video assets and ensure all files are organized and accessible for future projects.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a videographer, with a strong portfolio showcasing previous work.
- Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar.
- Strong understanding of storytelling techniques and visual composition.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
