Video Editor - Social Media & Performance Marketing Optimization Location: Los Angeles, CAOnsite Schedule: Hybrid; this role is mostly remote with the occasional onsite request for meetings and video shoots.Duration: Full-TimeRate Range: $72,000 - $90,000 Our client is seeking a Video Editor who is results-driven and has expertise in creating engaging social media content and optimizing videos for performance marketing. This role is a combination of creative editing and taking a data-driven appproach to ensure videos capture audience, drive conversions, and align with overall goals of the brand. WHAT YOU'LL DO:- Edit short-form and long-form videos for social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook, etc.) and performance marketing campaigns- Apply storytelling techniques, transitions, and motion graphics to enhance video quality and engagement- Repurpose existing content to create platform-specific videos optimized for performance and audience preferences- Collaborate with the marketing team to understand key performance indicators (KPIs) such as CTR, CPI, engagement rates, and retention rates- Test variations of videos (e.g., different hooks, CTAs, and formats) to maximize campaign performance- Analyze data from A/B testing and audience feedback to refine editing strategies and improve results- Partner with the creative team to brainstorm new concepts for ad creatives and organic social content- Stay updated on trends in social media and digital marketing to inform creative direction- Ensure all videos align with brand guidelines and maintain a high-quality standard.- Adapt edits based on feedback and rapidly iterate on concepts to meet deadlines. WHAT YOU'LL NEED:- Proven experience in video editing for social media and/or performance marketing- Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro, or similar tools- Strong understanding of social media platforms and video specifications- Knowledge of performance marketing principles and ability to interpret campaign data to drive creative decisions- Creative storytelling skills with a focus on engaging audience within first 3 seconds of the video NICE TO HAVES:- Experience in basic animation or motion graphics- Familiarity with Analytics tools (Google Analytics, Facebook Ads Manager, or similar)- Knowledge of audience segmentation and targeting strategies for digital advertising If you think you're a good fit for this role, send us your portfolio / resume! #IND123
