Full Job Description
The RV Valet/Wash and Detailer is responsible for moving RVs in and out of the service area, as well as transporting RVs to and from the dealership or customer locations. They also assist in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the service area. All applicants must be able to pass pre-employment testing including a background check, MVR, and drug screen. Key Responsibilities:
- Move RVs in and out of the service and storage areas.
- Complete storage departure checks, batteries, water, tire pressures and turn refrigerator on prior to a customer's departure from storage
- Assist in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the area.
- Report any issues with RVs to the service manager.
- Provide excellent customer service and address any customer concerns or complaints in a timely manner.
- Follow safety procedures and use equipment properly.
- Wash and wax RVs to a high standard, using appropriate cleaning and detailing products and techniques.
- Clean and detail RV interiors, including carpets, upholstery, and cabinetry.
- Inspect RVs for any damage or needed repairs and report any issues to the Wash & Detail Manager.
- Maintain equipment and ensure that it is in good working order.
- Assist in managing inventory levels of cleaning and detailing supplies.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in a similar position preferred.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
- Good time-management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail and the ability to work independently and efficiently.
- Knowledge of cleaning and detailing products and techniques.
- Work is primarily conducted on-site at the service shop
- May require extended periods of standing, walking, and bending
- May require lifting or moving heavy equipment or objects
- May require working in tight spaces or at heights
- May require exposure to natural elements such as inclement weather, extreme temperatures
- May require exposure to loud noises, fumes, or chemicals
- May require working weekends or holidays
