Our telecommunications client is seeking a UX  Designer to join their team for a 6-month project that may be extended. This is a hybrid position that can be based in NYC or Miami, FL (40 hrs/week). This role requires 3 days of onsite work (can work from home on remaining two days).

Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced UX Designer to join our dynamic team, where you will play a critical role in enhancing user experiences across our digital platforms. You will leverage your design expertise to create intuitive and engaging user interfaces, ensuring that our products meet user needs and business goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design process from concept to delivery for various projects.
• Conduct user research and usability testing to gather insights and validate design decisions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, developers, and other designers to create cohesive user experiences.
• Develop wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs using tools like Figma.
• Implement typography and design best practices to enhance readability and aesthetics.
• Manage and track design projects using JIRA to ensure timely delivery of design assets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in UX design with a strong portfolio showcasing your work.
• Proficiency in design tools such as Figma and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Strong understanding of typography and its application in digital design.
• Experience with agile methodologies and project management tools like JIRA.

In this position, you may have access to client or customer systems, confidential and/or proprietary information or data. This position is onsite and requires you to work closely with other individuals in a collaborative team environment.
