Position Summary
Snow Removal Team Members use a variety of snow removal equipment to remove snow from sidewalks, parking lots, and field lights. In addition, Snow Removal Team Members wash equipment, help with shop clean-up, and complete other tasks as assigned. Team members who are held over during extended snow events are provided with meals and paid rest breaks. The ideal candidate will have snow removal experience.
Anticipated Length of Assignment: Up to 6 months.
Shifts:
Status: This is a temporary, non-benefited position- Day
6:00 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. Monday - Friday - Afternoon
2:00 p.m. - 10:30 p.m. Monday - Friday - Night
10:00 p.m. - 6:30 a.m. Sunday - Thursday - Weekend
6:00 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. Saturday - Wednesday

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- Valid state issued driver's license.
- Ability to work outdoors under severe and varying weather conditions for extended periods of time.
- Ability to do heavy manual labor which includes shoveling, lifting, and carrying for extended periods of time.
- Ability to pass a criminal and employment background check.
- Ability to lift, carry, and position 50 lbs.
- Must have a working phone and be able to be reached 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
DESIRABLE REQUIREMENTS
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous snow removal experience using a variety of snow removal equipment.
- Experience operating a lawn tractor using the plow, broom, and blower attachments.
- Experience using a walk-behind snow thrower.
- Ability to report to the Minneapolis - St. Paul International Airport within 60 minutes.
