What You'll Do
As the Talent Acquisition Specialist, you'll work within the Talent Acquisition team to attract talent and oversee the recruitment process. In addition, you'll:
- Manage the full recruitment cycle: workforce planning, intake meeting, screening and presentation of candidates, communication throughout the process with candidates from applicant to hire focusing on campus recruitment efforts
- Coordinate and arrange networking and partnership events across several focus areas to build engagement and partnership with external organizations.
- Collaborate with business areas to establish a recruiting strategy for current and upcoming positions
- Leverage a variety of sourcing tools, social media resources, online databases, and employee referrals to proactively build candidate pipelines
- Keep candidates engaged throughout the recruitment and hiring process
- Build and maintain relationships with campuses and organizations
- Support the hiring team in determining qualified candidates by reviewing resumes for experience and knowledge, conducting initial interviews, verifying references, and performing background checks
- Support emerging talent programs through developing, planning, and executing events
What it Takes
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Communications is preferred
- 2 - 5 years of Human Resources/recruiting experience
- Experience with Handshake preferred
- Ability to work in a fast paced, team-oriented environment
- Understanding of fair employment practices
- Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders
- Technologically savvy
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and meet deadlines under pressure
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and work with high level of ethics and integrity
