VMWare Systems ArchitectSuffolk, VA, United States
6month contract to permanent hire
Looking for a VMWare Systems Architect II to support the JS J7 Joint Training DevSecOps pipeline core infrastructure and data center in Suffolk, VA. The selected candidate will be responsible for supporting the Deputy Directorate, Joint Training (DDJT).
This role is 100% onsite.
Qualifications and Responsibilities:
- Systems Architect II shall have an understanding of Training Systems and simulation architectures.
Clearance Level
Secret clearance
Certifications (IAT Level II)
One of the following:
- Security+ CE
- GIAC Security Essentials Certification (GSEC)
- Security Certified Network Professional (SCNP)
- System Security Certified Practitioner (SSCP)
- RHCSA Red Hat Certified System Administrator
- RHCDS Red Hat Certified Data Center Specialist
Required Skills
- A Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or a related technical discipline.
- At least 4 years of recent and relevant VMWare experience leading an architecture team for a software development project/program.
- At least 10 years of experience in a systems engineering, systems architecture, software architecture, or related role with a Systems Architecture Certification or Qualification.
