Staff Accountant

This job will be involved in day-to-day and month-end accounting processes including commission calculations. This position will assist operations management as necessary. The candidate that fills this position will be hands-on with a strong working knowledge of general ledger accounting and financial practices.

Position Responsibilities

Calculate commission payouts monthly.
Calculate quarterly commissions.
Calculate annual or quarterly commission true ups.
Ensure all sales reps have signed commissions plans.
Assist with some journal entries.
Assist with internal and external audit requests.
Prepare account reconciliations.
This position will be part of the General Operations Accounting Team reporting to the Senior Manager-General Operations Accounting Team.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

Familiarity with generally accepted accounting principles
Microsoft Office proficiency (Excel including Pivot Tables).
Excellent problem-solving skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work well within a team under tight deadlines and changing directives.
No travel required.
This is a remote position.

Education & Experience

Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field.
Two years general ledger or equivalent accounting experience.

Pay: $50,000-$55,000
