Job Summary
The role of the Sr. Talent Acquisition Specialist will proactively source, evaluate and present top talent to hiring managers, acting as a subject matter expert (SME) through the full life cycle recruitment process. Candidate care and communication is a key function of this position. Execute initiatives in support of proactive sourcing to build a more diverse and inclusive workforce. Complete projects related to Talent Acquisition goals and deliverables.Key Responsibilities/Duties – what you will be doing
Partners with the Director of Talent Acquisition (TA) and TA colleagues to execute the vision and strategy of the TA function and effectively support broader HR and organizational goals.
Provide recruitment advisory services to hiring managers through the critical junctures of the hiring process; in-take session, sourcing, evaluation, selection, debrief and accepted offer.
Build relationships with hiring managers and HR partners to understand current and future talent strategies and needs; educate, consult and transfer knowledge of recruiting processes, diversity recruitment, interviewing skills and regulatory requirements to hiring managers.
Proactively source candidates using new and innovative ways to attract high caliber, diverse talent for both open requisitions and future talent pipelines. Talent pipelines drawn from internal talent pools, employee referral pipelines, social sites/job boards and partner organizations, with an emphasis on diverse talent pools.
Participate in networking events, establish relationships with university professors, career services, alumni networks and associations related to a specific discipline such as actuarial.
Identify candidates to fill new and vacant positions; managing the interviewing process, inclusive of candidate screening, selection decision making, job offer creation and background checks
In partnership with compensation team and hiring manager; recommend, extend and negotiate offers that are reasonable and competitive, taking into consideration internal equity, candidate request, candidate skillset and Point32Health salary structure.
Deliver exceptional candidate experiences including candidates who are not selected for roles.
Partner closely with Diversity & Inclusion Program Managers on DEI strategies and initiatives.
Continuously learn and seek personal and professional growth opportunities.
Interpret Talent Acquisition data to recognize trends and issues and share findings with the recruitment team following attendance at conferences or educational events.
Network with individuals internal and external to Point32Health to establish and build positive professional relationships and reinforce the brand, image and culture of Point32Health.
Maintain a working knowledge of applicable Federal, State, and local laws and regulations, Standards of Conduct, as well as other policies and procedures in order to ensure adherence in a manner that reflects honest, ethical, and professional behavior.
Actively participate in team meetings, brainstorming sessions and activities to contribute and foster connection.
Seek opportunities to raise the bar beyond your individual contributions to support broader team goals and company objectives, completing special projects as requested.
Thrive in our hybrid remote, fast-paced environment while providing visibility and clear communications to candidates and hiring managers.
Other duties and projects as assigned.
The ideal candidate will have a firm grasp on actuarial and data analytics candidate pipelines including the behavioral and social complexities that are characteristic of candidates in this discipline.
Qualifications – what you need to perform the job
EDUCATION, CERTIFICATION AND LICENSURE:
Bachelor’s degree or commensurate functional expertise in Talent Acquisition with skilled sourcing ability, sophisticated candidate care and hiring manager advisement capabilities.
SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Outlook and Teams.
Experienced user of applicant tracking systems such as Workday.
Experience with DEI best practices and demonstrated cultural/identity adeptness.
Proficient sourcing capabilities using technology such as LinkedIn or Indeed Resume, with prior experience running recruitment campaigns (In-mail, social, text, email, phone).
Ability to create enticing job postings and advanced resume search and selection skills.
Success in building relationships, gaining credibility and influencing at all levels of the organization.
Demonstrated success creating and executing a results driven recruiting strategy.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail; ability to balance qualitative and quantitative analysis to stay current on external market trends related to Talent Acquisition.
Strong organizational and process management skills; comfort managing multiple workstreams and prioritizing within a fast-paced, dynamic, high-growth environment.
Experience engaging and partnering with senior executives.
Outstanding written and verbal communications, including developing effective presentations.
Strong interpersonal, consultative, relationship building and conflict management skills in order to foster relationships built on sustainable trust, long-lasting, comprehensive advice and service on TA related questions or issues.
Ability to read the subtle nuances of hiring manager and candidate situations and react/plan accordingly.
WORKING CONDITIONS AND ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS (include special requirements, e.g., lifting, travel):
Must be able to work under normal office conditions and work from home as required.
Work may require simultaneous use of a telephone/headset and PC/keyboard and sitting for extended durations.
May be required to work additional hours beyond standard work schedule.
