Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Arts/Sciences (BA/BS) or combination of education, training and experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
- A minimum of 10 years' progressive experience in a related field
- Proven experience in managing data center facilities, with a minimum of 10 years experience.
- In-depth knowledge of data center operations, infrastructure, and best practices.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of MEP data center designs and industry practices.
- In-depth knowledge and understanding of data center critical infrastructure components including CRAC, in-row coolers, chillers, generators, power bus rail systems, and UPS.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- High degree of self-initiative, dependability, and ability to work with little supervision.
- Ability to conceptualize complex business and technical requirements and transform them into comprehensible models and templates
- Informed on technological trends and developments.
- Must possess a can-do attitude
- Ability to establish organizational structure, including people and processes.
- Foster an innovative environment and effectively leverage that innovation to drive value creation.
- Effectively delegate work to direct reports, trusting them to perform without constant involvement.
- Motivate and empower individuals to be the best they can be.
- Build high-performing teams with people who are engaged, share a sense of ownership, and have a team-first mentality.
- Emphasize the continued development of direct reports, challenging and enabling them to grow professionally.
