POSITION SUMMARY:

The Sr. HR Business Partner will foster productive relationships while acting as a resource to managers and employees. The ideal candidate will have experience performing HR-related duties in the following areas: employee relations, business partnering, counseling, and coaching, training and development, and HR project management. Success in this role will be the result of a strong service-oriented mindset and a solid understanding of HR practices and regulations.

Your primary duties & responsibilities:

  • Effectively partner and coach operations leadership and other leadership team members in Aliquippa.
  • Communicate and administer human resource policies and procedures.
  • Respond to employee relations issues, conduct investigations, and counsel management on corrective action procedure. Ability to understand and proactively address employee concerns.
  • Keep abreast on people metrics and trends (turnover, engagement, absenteeism, etc.). Bring people insights to the operations leaders on a regular basis.
  • Proactive management of open roles, skill gaps, career development of key team members (plants – staffing and OT management with teams).
  • Understanding and driver of the DE&I objectives for the function/area.
  • Quarterback for development and team effectiveness (Career Pathing, SLII, Manager assimilation, DiSC).
  • Spearhead projects that solve current business problems and/or directly contribute to long-term objectives.
  • Remain current on evolving regulations and legal requirement to minimize legal risk and ensure compliance.
  • Partner with ESH team on safety objectives and assist with worker’s compensation claims management.
  • Embody AZEK Core Values and Leadership Behaviors.
  • Ability to flex schedule to support employee relations or other business needs as required.
  • Back up HR Team members 
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Onsite Daily 

We believe the successful candidate will need:

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources or related field is required. PHR or SHRM-CP preferred.
  • 8 to 10 years of HR generalist experience; preferably in manufacturing operations.
  • Experience with UltiPro HRIS System is a plus.
  • Manufacturing experience Preferred.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several geographic markets. The annual salary for this position ranges from $99,000 in our lowest market up to $121,000 in our highest market, plus bonus, equity, and benefits as applicable. The pay for roles at AZEK varies depending on a wide range of factors including but not limited to the specific work location, role, skill set, and level of experience.
