As the Senior Director, Medical & Strategic Initiatives you will be working in a fast-paced environment with a world-class team focused on enterprise-wide policy/standards, strategic thought leadership, corporate business integration, and symphony initiatives. Core Responsibilities
- Medical Degree (MD/DO) from an accredited medical school required. An unrestricted medical license and willingness to obtain additional state licenses as needed by the company are required.
- Advanced degree such as MBA, MPH, or MHA is desired but not required.
- Ten or more years of relevant work experience of which 3 or more years of direct patient care experience is desired.
- 2 or more years of administrative/management experience preferred.
- Must have a positive and "can-do" attitude.
- Highest level of attention to detail, follow through, and work ethic are important attributes for this role.
- Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills are essential.
- Must be able to closely manage several projects concurrently.
- Experience working with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders within a complex and highly matrixed organization desired.
- Able to work with a sense of urgency and punctuality.
- Must possess strong analytical thinking, problem solving, and creative skills.
- Should have prior experience in an occupational/corporate clinical setting.
- Must have a proven track record of success at the program manager level for any combination of the following: health/medical benefit programs, occupational/employee health clinics, public health/preventive medicine /OSHA programs, COVID-19 response, or other corporate health programs.
- Demonstrated success in building and managing strong relationships across the organization along with driving change through "dotted line" relationships and influence desired.
- Must be a subject matter expert in Occupational Health, Public Health, and/or Environmental Health/Safety programs.
- Understanding of primary care/non-occupational medicine care operations (virtual and brick/mortar) is essential.
- Must be comfortable leveraging technology to communicate (email, instant messaging, video conferencing, etc.) and perform work (excel, word, power point, etc.).
- Must be able to work variable schedule (nights, weekends, and holidays) as needed to
- Partner with the Corporate Medical Director to act as a credible and authoritative medical resource for the broader team for public health and corporate medicine related programs (disease outbreak, health concerns, travel medicine, sensitive employee issues, return to work, and other issues affecting the workplace).
- Partner with Environmental Health and Safety, Crisis Management, Security, HR, Business Continuity and Legal teams on a wide range of employee health and safety issues and protocols enterprise wide. This includes medical compliance as it pertains to Federal/State/Local laws and corporate directives.
- Provide subject matter expertise and support to studio production and operations (talk shows, movies, TV shows, etc.) along with other high-profile events (Olympics, World Cup, Super Bowl, etc.).
- Design, direct, and execute medical crisis management plans as applicable for each operating unit and location.
- Provide "voice of the patient" and evidence-based medicine to a broad range of health, safety, and benefits programs.
- Assist with medical accommodation requests as needed.
- Lead and manage multiple projects concurrently with ability to execute tasks big and small.
- Create and administer labor and non-labor budgets.
- Manage highly sensitive issues and provide private medical consultations and interventions when needed to ensure a safe, secure, and confidential environment.
- Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and overtime as necessary. Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Salary:
Primary Location Pay Range: $193,879.69 - $290,819.54
Additional Range: This job can be performed in New York City with a Pay Range of $244,718.30 - $383,037.34
