Job Description
Under the supervision of the Project Manager, Litigation Support Graphics, the selected LSG Specialist will be responsible for working with various practice areas to create compelling visual aids for courtroom presentations, briefs, filings, and other submissions in order to effectively communicate complex information to judges, juries, and clients.Primary Responsibilities and/or Essential functions:
- Design and produce polished, persuasive presentations and demonstratives for various venues (trials, hearings, arbitrations, mock simulations, etc.).
- Consult/brainstorm with individual attorneys, trial teams, and clients to gather information and produce effective visuals to simplify complex concepts and strengthen case arguments.
- Edit video and/or audio; create/design/convert multimedia presentations from and into a variety of formats. Edit and enhance video footage from depositions to highlight crucial testimony and evidence.
- Provide around-the-clock support to trial teams on and off-site, traveling as needed. Promptly respond to inquiries and complete requests in a timely manner. Provide time-sensitive solutions to issues as they arise.
- Keep current with technology and new developments in the areas of design, video and presentation software. Obtain knowledge of applications in the areas of design and multimedia. Attend seminars and classes as needed.
- Asist with determining equipment needs for different venues, operate multimedia presentations and ensure case team’s graphics needs are met.
- Assist with other related tasks and projects.
- Any other responsibilities or special projects as assigned by management.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- At least 3+ years Graphic Design experience.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, video editing software. Experience with trial presentation software (Trial Director, OnCue) a plus.
- Self-motivated with excellent time management skills.
- Ability to adhere to project goals and deadlines.
- Ability to run presentations in all venues.
Education/Certifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work and educational experience required.
- IT certifications.
Estimated salary range is $100,000 - $110,000. Compensation decisions within the range are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case including but not limited to the individual's skills, experience, and qualifications.
