Position Summary
The Solutions Architecht will act as a pivotal advisor in deploying advanced eDiscovery and legal technology solutions. This role is essential in guiding clients through the complexities of eDiscovery, ensuring optimal outcomes in litigation, regulatory, and transactional matters.
The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in eDiscovery methodologies, coupled with a strategic consulting approach. They will deliver tailored solutions that enhance efficiency and effectiveness, emphasizing the advisory and consultative aspects of eDiscovery. A proactive mindset is crucial for identifying client needs and implementing bespoke, technology-driven solutions.
Innovation is central to this role, with the successful candidate leading the adoption of cutting-edge legal technologies, delivering impactful demonstrations, and fostering strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
Advisory Leadership: Act as a trusted advisor to clients, offering strategic guidance on the implementation and optimization of eDiscovery solutions tailored to their specific legal and business contexts.
Project Strategy: Develop and execute project management strategies that enhance the delivery of eDiscovery services, focusing on improving client outcomes and streamlining processes.
Innovation in Legal Technology: Drive innovation by introducing cutting-edge eDiscovery methodologies and technologies, including artificial intelligence, to address complex legal challenges.
Consultancy Services: Provide in-depth consultancy on the adoption and integration of advanced eDiscovery and transactional technology solutions, ensuring alignment with client objectives and industry best practices.
Client Engagement: Build and maintain strong client relationships through ongoing consultation and support, ensuring that technology solutions are effectively communicated and implemented.
Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with internal case teams and external clients to ensure a cohesive approach to eDiscovery solutions, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
Training and Mentorship: Provide training and mentorship to team members, enhancing their capabilities in eDiscovery and legal technology consulting.

Requirements
Education: Bachelor's degree in Legal Studies, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. A Master's degree or equivalent in a related discipline is preferred.
Experience: A minimum of 4-7 years of experience in legal technology, with a significant focus on eDiscovery, legal transaction technologies, and artificial intelligence applications in legal contexts. Relativity Certified Administrator (RCA) is preferable.

Technical Proficiency: In-depth knowledge of eDiscovery processes and the latest innovations in legal technology.
Communication Skills: Exceptional communication and presentation skills, capable of effectively engaging with clients and stakeholders at all levels.
Analytical Abilities: Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, with a focus on delivering innovative and cost-effective technology solutions.

Equipment To Be Used: Personal computer and other office equipment such as telephone, calculator, fax, machine, copier, scanner, etc.
Essential Job Functions:
- Ability to sit and/or stand for prolonged periods, intense eye usage, and finger, hand and wrist dexterity associated with prolonged computer use.
- Ability to utilize technology, including computers and telecommunication devices.
- Ability to read and interpret written documents, computer screens and other visual displays accurately.
- Ability to work long days and/or firm holidays as required.
Working Conditions: You will be required to work in the office at minimum 3 days per week. Occasionally called upon to work hours in excess of your normal daily schedule. The details of your weekly schedule will be discussed further with your direct supervisor.
Pay Ranges: This represents the presently-anticipated low and high end of Reed Smith's pay range for this position. Actual pay may vary based on various factors, including but not limited to location and experience.

- Chicago / Philadelphia: $107,000 - $1759,000
- Washington, DC / Princeton NJ: $114,000 - $175,000
