Nurse-Family Partnership is a program for first-time, low-income mothers. The therapist will work closely with the NFP program which is designed to improve prenatal, maternal health and childbirth outcomes and to improve child health and development and wellbeing of the child. Job DutiesEmploys counseling skills in order to help patient/families understand, accept and follow recommendations for care and to restore patient to optimum social and health adjustment.Facilitate In-Home-Cognitive Behavioral Therapy services to eligible participants for fifteen weekly sessions with a booster session one months after treatment has ended. Intervenes in crisis situations, and effectively applies crisis intervention theory techniques. Maintains adherence and fidelity to In-Home-Cognitive Behavioral Therapy manual and treatment model. Completes weekly data entry, clinical case notes, screenings, and fidelity checklists.
