Northmarq is seeking a Social Media Marketing Manager to join our Corporate Marketing team in Minneapolis. This role will be responsible for creating and deploying content across our owned channels, as well as tracking and reporting on content performance as we level up our social media presence and strategy. The ideal candidate will have a blend of commercial real estate marketing experience alongside strong skills in graphic design and social media coordination. Key qualifications include exceptional customer service, project management expertise, innovation in digital marketing and attention to detail. This position requires collaboration with internal and external stakeholders at all levels of the firm and demands independent judgment in managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Position Responsibilities:
- Create and coordinate all social media posts for corporate channels
- Act as community manager of all owned channels, monitoring engagement and reactions, enhancing the conversations and connecting with our followers
- Actively participate in ongoing content planning, bringing high impact ideas to the table
- Maintain a social media content calendar
- Coordinate all aspects of paid and boosted social media campaigns
- Document a social media strategy, including guidelines for corporate channels and individual users
- Regularly track and report on social media performance analytics
- Partner with internal stakeholders to support key content moments, and identify opportunities with external organizations to further amplify the Northmarq brand
- Guide Northmarq’s client facing teams on how to leverage social media channels effectively
- Leverage existing resources and tools, while evaluating new resources, implementing best practices and making recommendations for innovative enhancements
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, journalism or similar field
- Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in social media marketing and content creation
- Strong understanding of content practices and digital marketing strategies such as SEO, SMO and PPC
- Proficient in various software, notably Adobe CC suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop) or Adobe Express, Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, MS Teams, Word, Powerpoint), HootSuite, Asana and all social media platforms
- Exceptional verbal and written communication
- Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks and meet deadlines while maintaining meticulous attention to detail in a fast-paced setting
- Demonstrate resourcefulness with a proactive approach, capable of working both independently and collaboratively within a team environment
- Able to cultivate and sustain strong business relationships with a commitment to superior client service
