Yamaha has an excellent opportunity for a Set-up Coordinator to join our Finance team in Marietta, GA. The Set-Up Coordinator will own the process for onboarding of new dealers. This will include the set-up and maintenance of customer files to include information input, review of credit approval and customer legal documentation. They will play a key role in the development and standardization of the new dealer set-up process.
What you'll be doing:
- Setup new dealer accounts and addition of product lines to existing dealers which includes input into Dealer Master Data Management (MDM), notification to other divisions and outside financing services, verification of legal documentation, follow-up on missing or incorrect documents.
- Accountable for filing DMV paperwork for licensing, including meeting requirements for each individual state. This information feeds into the rest of the company so accuracy is critical.
- Follow procedures for customer accounts changes, relocations, and terminations
- Process dealer terminations which include: Canceling dealer in MDM, notifying appropriate intercompany personnel and canceling dealer legal file
- Responsible for follow-up and maintaining updates of customer tax exemption certificates annually or as required
- Performs audit function for accuracy and compliance of all legal documents.
- Project based assignments, i.e. Prepare documents for transferring to digital, which includes working with outside vendor.
- Responsible for digital document archiving within corporate records retention policy and J-Sox controls.
- Other duties as assigned.
What you'll need to be successful:
- AA degree preferred
- Min 2+ years related work experience
- Document management experience required
- SAP, ACCESS or other Database Management systems knowledge required
- Knowledge of state requirements for dealer set-up preferred
- Strong computer skills: Microsoft Excel, Outlook
- Exceptional detail orientation
- Superior organizational skills
- Excellent oral & written communication skills
- Fast learner that takes initiative
- Works well in a team environment
