The SEO Specialist is a temporary employee on a part-time basis to support SEO efforts on the Aquent Marketing team–primarily keyword research and topic identification for blog and website content. The contract would be structured with a set number of weekly/monthly hours. An estimated 20 to 25 hours per week of support are required at this time.

Responsibilities:
Primary:
• Provide competitive keyword research and recommendations for marketing materials such as Blogs, Social Posts, Case Studies, Landing Pages, and more.
◦ Task requires an in-depth understanding of technical SEO elements, as well as Keyword specifications and KPI’s (volume, keyword difficulty, intent, CPC, etc.).
Secondary:
• Support Content team with topic recommendations, titles, and meta descriptions (in addition to the SEO optimized keywords).
• Provide coverage and/or support Sr. SEO Specialist with regular recurring tasks pertaining to weekly and monthly reporting metrics.
◦ Maintain month-end reports and dashboards for 10 websites.
◦ Site health reports for all United States and International website properties.
◦ Blog reporting data such as establishing baselines followed by tracking engagement, session duration, traffic acquisition sources, and more.
◦ Serve as an extension of International marketing teams by providing SEO support.
Qualifications:
• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience with Search Engine Optimization and Marketing.
• 2-3+ years of experience as a remote worker in the digital/marketing/tech field.
• Strong understanding of SEO best practices, keyword research, on-page and off-page optimization techniques.
• Experience with SEO functions in WordPress CMS. Additional WP experience preferred.
• Proficiency in Google Analytics and other web analytics platforms, with the ability to extract meaningful insights and analyze data. (Tools such as: GA4, SEM Rush, MS Clarity, Moz, ahrefs, and Screaming Frog)
• Experience with Google Ads paid search workflow (creating and maintaining campaigns & ads–including budget and scheduling, as well as metrics and reporting).
