Who will you be working with?
The Senior Project Leader will lead efforts to identify, execute, and track productivity initiatives for North America Transit Operations.
How will you make a difference?
In this role you will influence cross-functional teams, lead cost out projects, and be accountable for the short and long-term results of a multimillion-dollar project portfolio.
What do we want to know about you?
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in Field Services, Operations, Technology, Project Management or Service Contract Management
- Familiar with tollgate or similar business approval processes

Eligibility Requirements:
Willingness and ability to travel 25% of the time, both domestic and internationally
What will your typical day look like?
- Support a cross-functional team from Services, Engineering, Supply Chain, Quality, Risk, and external suppliers to meet all project milestones (Such as tollgates, design reviews, and PPAP) ahead of schedule
- Maintain a Multi-Generational Product Plan in partnership with product management, engineering, and services teams
- Drive internal execution of detailed project plans to meet large project targets
- Lead synergy initiatives across broader business portfolio to optimize cost
- Facilitate communication within the team, as needed, to achieve milestones and effectively manage communications with internal / external project stakeholders
- Identify risks to project execution, schedule, or valuation and facilitate the mitigation of those risks with the appropriate team
- Continually develop a network of resources in support of project execution
- Identify opportunities to expand the project in ways that bring value to our customer and satisfy our profitability requirements
- Manage the project budget and timeline, to ensure the resources are available to complete the project within budget and on time to meet customer obligations
- Professionally represent Wabtec during all customer and supplier interactions
