WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION:

This position will support our Redwood City, CA manufacturing plant.

• Prepare and communicate proactive analysis to support plant initiatives and be engaged in bringing best practices and efficiencies to the plant.
• Prepare month-end closing entries and plant performance reports, perform monthly variance analysis of plant spend vs. last year, vs. budget and vs. forecast.
• Perform annual standard cost roll and related analytics.
• Prepare annual budget and forecasts for operations.
• Maintain inventory analysis and reconciliation, cycle count, excess & obsolete inventory process for the plant.
• Provide information requested by Audit and Tax department to ensure adherence to policy or meet target.

YOU HAVE:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 3+ years of relevant experience with journal entries and cost accounting is required.
• Must have experience in SAP (or related ERP) in a manufacturing environment.
• Skilled problem solver with a strong team-oriented approach.
