Senior Manager of eCommerce Merchandising

Location: Hybird, Onsite in NYC 4x a week
Status: Freelance to Fulltime

Position Overview
The Senior Manager of eCommerce Merchandising will lead the strategy and execution of online merchandising initiatives to enhance the customer shopping experience and maximize sales. This role requires a combination of eCommerce expertise, merchandising knowledge, and project management skills to drive product assortment decisions and optimize visual presentation on eCommerce platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement eCommerce merchandising strategies to increase online sales and customer engagement.
• Manage product assortment and inventory for online channels to ensure optimal availability and presentation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, and supply chain, to align merchandising efforts with business goals.
• Lead projects related to site management and enhancements, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with brand standards.
• Analyze eCommerce performance data and customer insights to inform merchandising strategies and improve user experience.
• Oversee the execution of promotional campaigns and ensure they are effectively represented on the website.
• Maintain an organized workflow and manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in eCommerce merchandising or a related role.
• Strong understanding of eCommerce platforms, particularly Shopify, and best practices in online retail.
• Proven project management skills with the ability to lead projects from conception to execution.
• Experience in data analysis and using analytics tools to drive merchandising decisions.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
