About This Opportunity
At 7-Eleven International (7IN), we are responsible for the growth of 7-Eleven branded business around the world, excluding US, Canada, Mexico, and Japan. We are currently responsible for supporting over 15 regions that are managed by our Master Franchisees who operate over 50,000+ stores across the globe.
Our New Market Entry/Corporate Development Team supports the 7-Eleven growth objectives through acquisitions and other strategic transactions. The Senior Manager, Corporate Development will develop and modify valuation models; perform business and financial analysis; conduct due diligence/planning; provide analytic support throughout the deal development cycle; and generate and maintain internal reporting on transactions shared with other departments and the Executive Committee.
Business/Financial Analysis:
- Conduct in-depth financial analysis of potential acquisition targets (includes financial statement analysis, valuation modeling, financial forecasting, etc.)
- Determine economic assumptions for the financial model through communications with other departments as needed
- Prepare valuation models for acquisitions and joint-ventures opportunities
- Conduct scenario and sensitivity analyses to further analyze strategic investment decisions
- Engage with 3rd party finance teams to lead directed discussions on valuation and partner risks
- Lead dialogues with potential partners on finance and evaluation needs for analysis, decision, and stakeholder needs
Due Diligence/Planning:
- Lead the due diligence process by gathering and analyzing pertinent information such as financial data, legal documents, and operational metrics
- Drive cross-functional teams to evaluate risks and opportunities in support of the decision-making process
- Manage and collaborate with business partners to distill diligence findings and propose recommendations to executive leadership
Additional Responsibilities:
- Lead the development of comprehensive business cases for proposed M&A/JV transactions to executive leadership
- Join in the execution of the M&A/JV deals in alignment with stakeholders, and collaborate with the Operations team
- Track and prepare reports on industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor activities to identify potential M&A opportunities and assess market positioning
- Maintain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism in all activities
Education: Masters in Business, Finance, or related concentrations
Years of Relevant Work Experience: 5+ years in Finance, Private Equity, Investment Banking or related industries
Years of Relevant Management Experience: 3+ years
Location: Irving, TX
Travel Requirements: approx. one week per quarter
