Fossil Group is searching for an Assistant Brand Manager to support the Emporio Armani Watch business. The Assistant Brand Manager for Emporio Armani Watches is responsible for assisting the Brand Manager in developing product assortments and implementing strategic business initiatives to achieve sales and profitability targets. This role focuses on driving category business strategies, particularly in the area of merchandising, and requires frequent collaboration with cross-functional teams, regional partners, and licensors. The ideal candidate will possess strong merchandising and line development knowledge, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work with a prestigious luxury brand and offers room for professional growth and development.

Job responsibilities include:

  • Merchandising/Line Development: Support the build of seasonal line plans with strategies that communicate future product development needs to the design team. Manage global pricing with a focus on meeting margin objectives; responsible for competitive market and trend analysis to provide regional product assortments. Analyze and provide feedback on retail sales and shipping.
  • Inventory Management/Planning: Global assortment management; partner with Brand Manager and planning team on immediate inventory needs and allocation; attend monthly calls with supply chain planner to monitor flow of inventory and timeliness of new product introductions. Manage and identify quarterly status changes/ markdown list in partnership with regional merchants and licensor.
  • Sales: Lead sales coordination meetings with regional merchant teams & provide global guidance for each seasonal product delivery. Responsible for managing direction for content included in “Go To Market” materials including strategic product initiatives and seasonal newness assortments.
  • Marketing: Partner with the marketing team on all operational marketing activities (product selection for campaign assets, fixtures, packaging, window kits,etc.)
  • Cross functional partnerships: interface with product development, design, regional merchants, licensor contacts, senior management, marketing and planning.
  • Fixture: Manage new product enhancements development for watch categories as well as new fixture process. Act as the liaison between licensor and internal environmental design
  • Armani Boutiques: Support the day-to-day initiatives of Armani Boutiques in collaboration with Brand Manager and Coordinator

Your Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 7+ years of brand, planning, or buying experience
  • Success in building collaborative partnerships
  • Experience driving business forward
  • Retail selling analysis experience required
  • Proficient Microsoft office with Excel, Google Enterprise products
  • SAP experience is a plus
