Mabbett & Associates, Inc. (Mabbett), an award-winning and industry leading environmental, health and safety (EH&S) consulting and engineering firm, is seeking a Senior Environmental Compliance Project Manager to lead our growing Environmental Compliance Practice. Providing consulting services to a wide variety of clients, including those in the healthcare, biotechnology, research and development industries, as well as Federal agencies and academia, this is a full-time opportunity suitable for candidates with a strong compliance and project management background.
This is a hybrid position based out of the firm's Corporate Headquarters located in Stoneham, MA office or in the firm's Mid-Atlantic Regional office in Alexandria, VA
This position will provide technical and client management support, including but not limited to:
* Environmental and/or safety compliance auditing
* On-site EH&S services at client sites
* Training program development and delivery
* Regulatory agency submittals, including environmental permits and environmental reporting such as Tier II, Form R/Form S, Source Registration, etc.
* Hazardous materials and waste management
* Air emissions permitting, tracking and reporting
* EHS program development and implementation for various clients
* Project management
* Business development
* Supervising and mentoring staff
Requirements* Bachelor's degree in occupational health, safety, or a related field such as environmental science, engineering, chemistry, or biology.
* Minimum of 10 years of professional, hands-on EH&S compliance experience. Prior consulting and project management experience is desired.
* Must have knowledge of environmental regulations, as well as safety regulations and programs.
* Expertise or experience in the healthcare, biotechnology, Federal agencies and/or academia is a plus.
* The ideal candidate will have experience conducting EH&S audits.
* Must possess strong technical writing and communication skills; must be proficient in MS Excel (able to create, use and manipulate spreadsheets).
* Professional certifications, such as Certified Hazardous Materials Manager (CHMM), Massachusetts Toxics Use Reduction Planner (TURP), Associate Safety Professional (ASP), Certified Safety Professional (CSP), Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH), or ISO 14001 Lead Auditor are a plus.
