The Role:

The Senior Director of Corporate Development & Strategy is a highly strategic and analytical leader responsible for driving the company's growth and expansion through mergers and acquisitions (M&A), strategic partnerships, joint ventures, and other corporate development initiatives. This role will also play a key role in shaping the overall corporate strategy and ensuring alignment with business objectives.

Corporate Development:

  • Lead the development and execution of the company's corporate development strategy: Identify, evaluate, and pursue M&A opportunities, strategic partnerships, and other growth initiatives.

  • Manage the entire M&A lifecycle: from target identification and due diligence to negotiation, integration, and post-merger management.

  • Conduct comprehensive market research and competitive analysis: to identify potential targets and assess industry trends.

  • Develop detailed financial models and valuations: to support deal evaluation and negotiation.

  • Build and maintain relationships with investment bankers, venture capitalists, and other external partners.

  • Present recommendations to senior management and the Board of Directors.

Strategy:

  • Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and refine the company's overall corporate strategy.

  • Conduct strategic analysis and planning: to assess market opportunities, competitive dynamics, and internal capabilities.

  • Identify and evaluate new business opportunities and growth initiatives.

  • Monitor and analyze industry trends and competitive landscape.

  • Develop and implement strategic initiatives to support the company's growth objectives.

Leadership:

  • Mentor and develop team members.
  • Foster a collaborative and results-oriented culture.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or a related field. MBA preferred or relevant industry experience.

  • Exceptional experience in corporate development, investment banking, or management consulting.

  • Proven track record of successfully executing M&A transactions and other corporate development initiatives.

  • Strong analytical and financial modeling skills.

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.

  • Ability to think strategically and creatively.

  • Strong leadership and team management skills.

Additional Skills (Preferred):

  • Experience in the specific industry of the company.

  • International business experience.

  • Strong network of contacts in the M&A and investment communities.

This position offers an annual salary of typically between $ 148K and $ 338K dependent on location and experience. In certain circumstances, higher compensation will be considered based on the business need, candidate experience, and skills.
