Our hospitality client is looking for a Senior Designer to join their team on a 3-month contract with the possibility to extend. This position is 40 hours a week and fully remote but you must work EST business hours.
Position Overview
We are seeking a talented and experienced Contract Senior Designer to join our creative team. Senior Designer will create custom graphics, illustrations, memes, gifs and videos for our social handles. The right candidate has a passion for travel, social media and storytelling and has the ability to create innovative original content end-to-end. You will conceptualize, design, and execute creative solutions for social media that consistently and clearly communicate brand identity, and positioning.
The ideal candidate will have a social-first mindset, with proven experience creating social content. Portfolio must include examples of social media campaigns, content, and strategies.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and illustrate graphics and elements for social platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest)
- Collaborate with marketing and product teams to develop and implement branding strategies.
- Develop engaging social media content that aligns with our brand voice and objectives.
- Utilize Adobe Suite to produce high-quality designs and presentations.
- Participate in brainstorming sessions to contribute creative ideas and concepts.
- Adhere to brand identity standards and guidelines, while helping to inform the evolution and extension of the written and visual identity.
- Ensure all designs adhere to brand guidelines and maintain a high standard of quality.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to bring innovative ideas to the team.
Qualifications
- Strong portfolio showing a range of experience, concepts, and visual styles. Proven ability to create for social media is desired.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.).
- Animation (AfterEffects and/or HTML5) & Video production experience is a plus
- Strong understanding of branding principles and design best practices.
- Experience with social media content creation and strategy.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
- Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Fine Arts, or a related field is preferred.
