As a Senior Change Management Consultant in Employee Experience, you will play a crucial role in ensuring enterprise-wide change-initiative projects meet business, schedule, and budget objectives. With a strong focus on the people side of change, you will be responsible for teaching and coaching others on how to create and implement change management strategies that maximize employee engagement and drive the achievement of both human and business objectives. Your work will facilitate employee adoption of change across the organization.
This is a hybrid position at our Mountlake Terrace campus.
What you’ll do:
- Train and coach others to:
- Apply a scalable and structured change management approach to support the people-side of change, including base-lining of change readiness
- Utilize knowledge of situational awareness to develop change management strategies based on the groups impacted
- Identify potential people-side risks, anticipated points of resistance, and develop specific plans to mitigate or address these concerns
- Develop a set of actionable and targeted change management plans and tools (i.e., communication plan, sponsor roadmap, coaching plan, business readiness, training plan, resistance management plan) while considering adoption, reinforcement and celebration
- Evaluate effectiveness of change efforts, identify performance gaps, work to develop and implement interventions when needed, and capture and apply lessons learned to achieve continuous improvement
- Coordinate with project teams to integrate change management activities into the overall project plan
- Coordinate with other Premera departments and leaders to leverage expertise in support of change and adoption efforts
- Work with cross-functional business partners to ensure consistency throughout the adoption program lifecycle and share common understanding of business impacts as a result of system and process transformation
- Work though others, at all levels of the organization, to ensure success of changes including:
- Coach senior leaders and executives in how they fulfill the role of change sponsor
- Provide support and coaching to HR Business Partners, Learning & Development Consultants and managers as they lead their direct reports through transitions
- Support project teams by integrating change management activities into project plans
What you’ll bring:
- Bachelor's degree or 4 years’ work experience (Required)
- 8 years of progressively more responsible professional experience (Required) including:
- 4 years managing change efforts using change management principles and methodologies
- Experience and knowledge of change management principles and methodologies (example: AIM, John Kotter’s 8-step process, Kurt Lewin’s 3 stage model and PROSCI’s ADKAR Model)
- Certification in change management methodologies (Preferred)
- Familiarity with lean practices (Preferred)
- Prior people management experience

The pay for this role will vary based on a range of factors including, but not limited to, a candidate’s geographic location, market conditions, and specific skills and experience.
National Salary Range:
$93,300.00 - $158,600.00National Plus Salary Range:
$106,300.00 - $180,700.00*National Plus salary range is used in higher cost of labor markets including Western Washington and Alaska.
