Summary
The Senior Business Analyst - Requirements Validation Facilitator is a crucial role responsible for guiding the requirements gathering and validation process for large-scale projects. This position involves managing multiple aspects of requirements, from initial gathering and analysis through client validation and traceability documentation, ensuring all requirements are properly captured, assigned, and refined to meet client expectations. The RV Facilitator also manages the execution of RV sessions, including preparation, scheduling, and post-session documentation. Here are the details on this position.

1. Gathering Requirements:
- Lead the gathering of project requirements, including contract analysis, recomposing and decomposing requirements, and identifying key stakeholders for ownership and RV session participation.
- Review artifacts to establish requirement traceability and ensure accurate documentation.
- Oversee the loading and management of requirements in the ALM (Application Lifecycle Management) tool.
2. Requirement Assignment:
- Assign requirements for RV sessions, ensuring clear ownership and co-ownership.
- Support the reassignment of requirement owners as needed, and coordinate the development of an RV schedule.
- Manage RV invites, ensuring proper participation and engagement from relevant stakeholders.
3. Refining Requirements:
- Assist in the creation of "How Requirement Met" documentation to ensure that all project requirements are client-ready.
- Define how the fulfillment of requirements will be verified by the client, coordinating completion of requirement traceability.
- Manage any gaps related to requirements and maintain clear, updated documentation via ALM.
- Provide clarification and scoping support for requirements when necessary.

4. RV Session Preparation:
- Develop the demonstration strategy for RV sessions, ensuring alignment with client expectations.
- Create and manage the RV agenda, including eliciting discovery questions and handling client responses.
- Coordinate the creation of Business Requirement Documents (BRDs) and schedule/manage dry runs for RV sessions.
- Package all RV materials for delivery to the client, ensuring completeness and accuracy.
5. Validation and Maintenance:
- Facilitate RV meetings, ensuring discussions remain productive and requirements are validated effectively.
- Act as an RV scribe when needed, taking notes and tracking requirement status based on client interactions.
- Initiate Change Requests (CR) for canceled or modified requirements and produce the Requirements Traceability Matrix (RTM) to track and validate requirements over the course of the project.
Skills and qualifications - Proven experience in managing and facilitating requirements validation sessions, with a focus on stakeholder engagement and requirement traceability.
- Expertise in requirements gathering, decomposition, and stakeholder identification.
- Proficient in the use of ALM tools for requirement management, assignment, and traceability documentation.
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage schedules, invites, and participant coordination for RV sessions.
- Excellent communication and facilitation skills, capable of handling complex discussions and delivering client-ready documentation.
- Familiarity with creating Business Requirement Documents and producing detailed reports such as the Requirements Traceability Matrix (RTM).
- Ability to manage gaps and initiate Change Requests when needed.
- Willingness to travel up to 25% for on-site requirement validation sessions.
What we're looking for - Three or more years of experience translating technical goals and requirements into real action for clients.
- Knowledge in the Medicaid program as well as the State / Federal programs preferred
- Advanced knowledge in Microsoft Excel and other software for conducting quantitative analysis. SQL queries, reporting data and gap analysis knowledge is a must
- Proven experience in managing and facilitating requirements validation sessions and/or client meetings, with a focus on stakeholder engagement.
- Expertise in stakeholder identification.
- Proficient in the use of ALM tools for requirement management, assignment, and traceability documentation.
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage schedules, invites, and participant coordination for RV sessions.
- Excellent communication and facilitation skills, capable of handling complex discussions and delivering client-ready documentation.
- Familiarity with creating Business Requirement Documents and producing detailed reports such as the Requirements Traceability Matrix (RTM).

The pay range for this position is $69,400.00 - $99,200.00 per year, however, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
