About the Role
The Position
The Senior Benefits Analyst/Lead will be responsible for managing and analyzing our US benefits programs. This role requires extensive experience with Workday, advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in benefits administration and a deep understanding of US benefits regulations and best practices.
Key Responsibilities
Assist with design, implementation, and day-to-day administration of benefit programs, including health & welfare benefit plans, 401(k) plan, and other employee services.
Support annual benefits open enrollment planning and execution. Help develop effective communication strategy to educate and reach diverse employee population.
Advise and counsel employees and dependents on day-to-day benefit-related questions (via email, phone, walk-ups, and drop-in sessions).
Partner with finance, payroll, HRIS, legal, and vendors to effectively and efficiently perform all aspects of benefit program management, including ensuring accuracy of benefit deductions and streamlining current processes and procedures to ensure proper data flow to relevant parties.
Keep abreast of policies, legislative changes, and legal requirements, such as ERISA, HIPAA, and the Affordable Care Act to assist with plan compliance efforts.
Conduct thorough analysis of benefits data to identify trends, cost-saving opportunities, and areas for improvement.
Create and present dashboards and reports to provide insights to senior management.
Ensure compliance with all federal and state regulations related to employee benefits.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in benefits administration, with a focus on US benefits.
Extensive experience with Workday benefits module.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including complex formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis.
Experience creating dashboards and reports i.e. Tableau/PowerBI.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
Preferred qualifications
Certification in Benefits Administration (e.g., CEBS, CBP).
Experience with other HRIS systems, preferably Workday.

Our approach to compensation considers all aspects of total compensation; all employees are eligible to receive salary, variable compensation, and benefits. The base salary range for this position is:
USD 65,000 - 150,000This range takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered when making compensation decisions, including but not limited to skill sets; role; skills and experience; certifications; and education. This range is an estimate, and further details on salary and total compensation aspects will be shared with candidates during the recruitment process.
Base salary is only one component of Wellington’s total compensation approach. Other rewards may include a discretionary Corporate Bonus and/ or Incentives, if eligible.
