About This Role
Reporting to a Director of Tax, the Senior Analyst, Tax will assist the tax department in all tax functions as needed, primarily U.S. international tax compliance, assistance with U.S. international tax provision components including foreign subsidiaries' U.S. GAAP tax provision calculations and reporting and support with global transfer pricing documentation. The Sr Analyst role supports a dynamic tax department that adds value to the overall business through planning and strategic collaboration throughout the organization.
What You'll Do
- Ensure timely and accurate preparation of the international reporting components of the Company's federal income tax return, including gathering data and assistance with preparation of forms and supporting workpapers.
- Quarterly global ASC 740 income tax provision preparation and support including coordination and timely collection of data requests, calculation of tax provision for foreign subsidiaries, including annual provision to return calculations and reconciliation of tax accounts. Ensure internal controls and procedures are properly documented and executed.
- Assistance with withholding tax matters including preparation of required forms and related payments as well as maintenance of U.S. residency certifications.
- Assist in the preparation of global transfer pricing documentation, including Master and Local File reports, assist in responding to transfer pricing-related audit requests, assist Transfer Pricing head in conducting functional analysis interviews.
- Provide assistance with miscellaneous tax projects and foreign subsidiary audit support.
Qualifications
Who You Are
You are an inquisitive and detail-oriented individual experienced in corporate tax. You are savvy with MS Excel, tax compliance software, and online research tools. You love working with cross-functional stakeholders in a collaborative and dynamic work environment.
Required Skills
- 3-5 years of corporate tax experience in public accounting or industry
- Bachelor's Degree
- Experience with U.S. International tax compliance (i.e. Forms 5471, 8858, 8992)
- Experience with ASC740 (or equivalent) and U.S. international tax calculations including E&P and GILTI
- Proficient with tax compliance software, online research tools, and Microsoft Office applications
- Ability to work in a dynamic environment and work on multiple projects
- Detail oriented and strong organization and communication skills
Preferred Skills
- Experience with BEAT/FDII, Subpart F and foreign tax credit calculations
- Experience with transfer pricing and intercompany accounting.
