Job Summary

Responsible for preserving the Company's assets by identifying risk exposures and assuring that these exposures are insured, contractually transferred or self-insured. Serves as Subject Matter Expert and provides risk management guidance to entertainment business groups worldwide. Develops and implements sound risk management principles, policies, and procedures.

Job Description

Core Responsibilities

  • Maintainsand continuously developsin depth technical knowledge of various insurance coverages including production, liability, errors and omissions, and international insurance.
  • Fosters positive communication with internal and external insurance stakeholders. Be proactive and willing to respond to urgent requests when required including outside of normal business hours.
  • Works collaboratively with key business stakeholdersfor film, television and other media projects worldwide. Assesses and anticipates operational insurance needs. Identify risk and negotiate coverage for key exposures.
  • Reviews and negotiates domestic and international contracts to assure that requirements of the company or outside party are reasonable and can be met.
  • Manages production related insurance claims including liability, property damage and time element claims. Provides coverage analysis, investigate, and ensures favorable and timely settlement of insurance claims.
  • Effectively documents, and consistently applies risk management procedures. Ensures operational consistency and provides insurance guidance to business groups worldwide.

  • Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
  • Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and overtime as necessary.

Preferred Education/Certification

  • Bachelors Degree

Relative Work Experience

  • 5-7 years

Preferred Qualification's

  • Risk management and/or other experience in the insurance industry.

  • Will consider candidates in other fields of business with transferrable skills including finance and legal.

Salary:

Primary Location Pay Range: $85,881.32 - $128,821.98

Comcast intends to offer the selected candidate base pay within this range, dependent on job-related, non-discriminatory factors such as experience. The application window is 30 days from the date job is posted, unless the number of applicants requires it to close sooner or later.



Base pay is one part of the Total Rewards that Comcast provides to compensate and recognize employees for their work. Most sales positions are eligible for a Commission under the terms of an applicable plan, while most non-sales positions are eligible for a Bonus.
