A Brief Overview

Assume responsibility for an on-going, innovative research project as a Postdoctoral Fellow at CHOP. Our postdoc experience will broaden your skillset, scientific background, and research capabilities.

About the Lab:

One NIH-sponsored postdoctoral fellow position is available in Dr. Nik Sgourakis 's lab at the Center for Computational and Genomic Medicine and the Department of Biochemistry and Biophysics at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP), and the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania (UPenn).

The major focus of the laboratory is to investigate the molecular mechanisms of MHC-I antigen processing and presentation, including non-classical MHC molecules, toward novel synthetic biology applications and clinical translation through the development of targeted therapeutics. For more information, visit: www.sgourakislab.org

Multiple protein design-based projects are available: (1) Design of novel immunological chaperones; (2) Structure-guided design of synthetic immune receptors.
