Full Job Description
Based on our internal equity review process, the starting salary for this position is set at $22.51 per hour.To allow for growth and salary progression the full hourly range is $22.51 - $30.82. Employees will have the opportunity to move through the posted range based on annual performance reviews and merit increases.
The Adult Sports Specialist is involved with assisting with program and facility reservations oversight. Ensuring that athletic fields and recreational spaces are allocated efficiently and in accordance with organizational policies. Responsibilities include processing reservation requests, coordinating with sports teams, community groups, and internal departments to schedule facility use, and addressing any conflicts or issues that arise. Additionally, the role involves assisting in the operations of Metro Parks adult sports programs by supporting program scheduling, coordinating event logistics, and ensuring that all activities run smoothly. This includes maintaining an up-to-date booking calendar, handling logistical arrangements, and providing excellent customer service to ensure a seamless experience for all users. Attention to detail and strong communication skills are essential for effectively managing the reservation process and supporting both community and internal program needs.

Position Information   
Promote and deliver assigned recreational programs and activities; organize and facilitate instructional classes and special events related to the recreational program assigned; manage onsite personnel and service delivery.
