Volt is immediately hiring for Quality Control Technician in Hawthorne, CA.

As a Quality Control Technician, you will:

Model and enforce the highest safety standards in the manufacturing environment.
Review and monitor in-line manufacturing testing specifications and associated production test equipment per written procedures.
Inspect in-process/in-line test setups for compliance with applicable procedures.
Perform checks per specifications while monitoring critical technical and physical parameters for compliance.
Complete and maintain data sheets, generate data plots, and keep a detailed quality control log.
Investigate and address QC anomalies with sound technical judgment.
Participate in test planning efforts, test readiness reviews, and provide feedback for procedure improvements.
Communicate clearly and collaboratively across all levels and functions in the organization.
Travel to external test locations to assist in setup, inspection, and operation of qualification flight tests.

The ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience:

High school diploma or GED required; associate's degree or technical certification preferred.
2+ years of experience in quality control or manufacturing in the space industry.
Proficiency with STM32CubeProgrammer or similar MCU flashing tools, and RF testing equipment such as spectrum analyzers.
Experience using measurement tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers, gauges, multimeters) and testing equipment.
Strong attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documents.
Knowledge of quality systems and standards (e.g., ISO 9001, AS9100) is a plus.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and quality management software is preferred.

Pay Rate: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
