Our client is seeking a UX Designer to join their team responsible for creating community experiences on a popular platform, including comments, reactions, interactive stickers, and posts. The team is committed to delivering inclusive, helpful, useful, and trusted user experiences that align with their mission.The UX Designer will partner with cross-functional teams to conceptualize, test, design, and deliver user-centered experiences, while also building products that are inclusive and trustworthy. Working closely with UX peers, product managers, and engineering teams, this role will focus on designing solutions that meet both user needs and product value. The UX Designer will leverage expertise in information architecture, design frameworks, storytelling, and deliver pixel-perfect designs aligned to platform standards.
Responsibilities:
- Develop user-centered, detailed designs that are aligned with the platform’s design language and specified for engineering development.
- Collaborate closely with other designers, researchers, product managers, and engineers to define requirements, reach consensus on key decisions, and deliver design work aligned with business goals, technical feasibility, and overall product vision.
- Work with engineers during feature development to address edge cases and provide clarity on design implementation.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 4+ years of experience in product design or UX.
- Experience designing across multiple platforms, working with technical and design teams to create user flows, wireframes, and building user interface mockups and prototypes.
- A strong portfolio showcasing thoughtfully designed products, demonstrating strategic thinking, high-quality deliverables, and design processes.
- Experience working on consumer-focused products.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate design rationale and tell compelling stories that keep teams aligned.
- Specialization in interaction design and product thinking, with solid visual design skills, and experience in prototyping and user research.
- Experience working within and contributing to design systems, as well as building accessible products.
- Self-starter with excellent organizational skills and a growth mindset.
- Collaborative, open-minded, and professional, with a passion for continuous learning.
Compensation:
The target hiring compensation range for this role is $73.10 to $81.22 per hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to, education, relevant work experience, certifications, and location.
