Position Summary:

The Quality Assurance Supervisor provides directions to all Quality Assurance employees in the Manufacturing facility.

Position Responsibilities may include, but not limited to:

  • Direct Quality Assurance (QA) employees in a Manufacturing facility
  • Maintain corporate and franchise partner standards as well as Environmental Health & Safety standards
  • Establish operational procedures in collaboration with Quality Assurance Manager
  • Ensure that all QA equipment is in excellent operating order
  • Ensure that all work assessments and activities are in accordance with policies of the company and presiding collective bargaining agreements
  • Focus on removing costs, continuous improvement, removing inefficiencies, and complexity for the Manufacturing facility
  • Ensure that all company, franchise owners, and federal and provincial policies, standards and guidelines are maintained
  • Other projects or duties as assigned

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Associate’s degree in an engineering or science discipline with 4 plus years of related experience and 0-1 plus years of people leadership experience or HS Diploma/GED with 6 plus years of related experience and 1 to 2 plus years of people leadership experience
  • Strong organization and planning skills
  • Strong decision making skills
  • Experience working in an International Organization for Standardization (ISO) environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong problem solving skills
  • Knowledge of water treatment systems
  • This position must pass a post-offer background and drug test

Preferred Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Labor relations experience
  • People leadership experience in a Manufacturing environment
