Full Job Description
The Program Specialist for the Babson Financial Literacy Project (BFLP) will help oversee our financial literacy program. Specifically responsible for working with delivery partners and the BFLP team to manage workshop scheduling, delivery, and outcome measurement as well as social media.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Lead workshop planning efforts by coordinating with BFLP team, trainers, and delivery partners. Key tasks include building relationships with delivery partners to define workshop approach, spearheading BFLP trainer scheduling, and leveraging technology to track and run workshops.
  • Manage reporting for workshop results. Create a process to track attendees, compile workshop surveys, and manage knowledge gain reports.
  • Develop a financial literacy certificate program for those completing our financial foundations program.
  • Gain familiarity with the BFLP online financial knowledge platform and respond to requests for access on a weekly basis. Provide guidance to delivery partners needing help with the platform.
  • Assist with logistics, communications, and event planning for financial literacy train-the-trainer program.
  • Manage social media efforts including Instagram and TikTok.
  • Assume additional responsibilities as required.

WHAT EDUCATION AND SKILLS YOU WILL NEED

Bachelor’s Degree

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in education and program management.
  • Strong project and program management skills.
  • Ability to work within a fast-paced environment and make independent decisions.
  • Excellent communication skills, a strong attention to detail and follow through, and the ability to work with multiple constituencies in a professional manner.
  • Experience with social media platforms including Instagram and TikTok.
  • Capable of developing relationships both internally and with BFLP delivery partners.
  • Must have strong technology skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Suite, and Zoom. Willing to learn InDesign or CVENT (event planning) as necessary.

HOW AND WHERE YOU WILL WORK

This position is remote and will require a commitment of 25 hours per week.

ADDITIONAL SKILLS YOU MAY HAVE

Ability to run financial literacy workshops is highly desirable but not required.
