Purpose Statement
The Production Posting Clerk should be detail-oriented and self-driven with the ability to work with cross functional teams to deliver business needs. The position will be responsible for validating, analyzing, and issuing corrections on material and labor consumption and tracking. The position will work with cross functional teams on ROCS saving initiatives, VSM opportunities, along with other value added TPM Tools. This role is critical in helping the company understand its cost structure and improve financial performance. A mixture of office-based work with production floor interactions.
Key Accountabilities and Outcomes
- * Analyze and communicate needed revisions for daily production reports
- * Monitor and report on labor, run rate, material variances.
- * Assist in the preparation of daily, weekly, and monthly reports
- * Perform cost-benefit analysis for business initiatives and projects
Knowledge, Skills, and Experience
* Preferred associate degree in business or accounting
* 1 year of experience posting material and labor in and out of cost centers and production orders
* Proficient in Microsoft Excel and experience with accounting software (SAP and MLO)
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
* Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
* Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
