The Process Improvement Manager oversees the practical execution of initiatives within the Programs and Services Division at Twin Cities Habitat for Humanity. They bridge the gap between strategic planning and actual implementation, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet predefined objectives. The Process Improvement Manager is vital for optimizing existing workflows and procedures. 

This role collaborates closely with teams and managers to analyze current processes, identify inefficiencies, and implement streamlined solutions. The Process Improvement Manager documents updated processes, creates training materials, and monitors the ongoing effectiveness of improvements.

Qualifications to be a Process Improvement Manager

  • Education, credentials, and experience:
    • 5+ years of experience in project management
    • 3+ years of demonstrated success in vision-casting, strategic planning, and team leadership. 
    • Strong belief and support in the mission of TCHFH
    • Experience in effectively building and maintaining internal/external relationships
    • Passion for continuous improvement and experience leading process improvement initiatives
    • Valid driver's license with good driving record.
    • Personal auto insurance compliant with TCHFH Driver’s Policy.
  • Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Competencies:

    • Process Management: Implements effective and efficient processes to get things done, with a focus on continuous improvement.
    • Collaboration: Works well with colleagues in identifying and solving issues that cross organizational boundaries. Listens and understands the perspective of other organizational leaders.
    • Communication: Strong oral and written communication. Ability to convey complex topics in presentations. Transparent and sincere communicator with team members.
    • Analytical Thinking: Breaks down raw information and undefined problems into specific, workable components that in-turn clearly identifies the issues at hand.
    • Project Management: Can develop and execute a detailed project plan. Can motivate and provide direction to project team members; even those who do not report directly.
    • Initiative: Identifies opportunities and issues, and proactively acts and follows through on work activities to capitalize or resolve them.
