PURPOSE STATEMENT
The Porter is primarily responsible for assisting the Event Assistant/Steward and dishwashers with the cleaning and maintenance of the catering storage rooms, inventory, and procuring the necessary supplies and equipment for events.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES/OUTCOMES
- Ensuring all silverware, glassware, and china is shined and polished
- Ensuring the catering storage rooms are kept organized and all supplies and equipment are returned to the correct assigned storage areas after every event
- Wash and store dishes and storage room equipment in their proper place
- Assists with table and chair set-up for events when needed
- During the week, assist withpulling supplies and equipment using event checklists
- Load supplies and equipment onto the catering trucks
- Drive supplies and equipment in the catering truck to the appropriate venue(s) when needed
- Part-time
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE
- Able to work varied hours during the week including evenings
- Must be flexible with schedule and time changes
- Must possess valid driver's license
- High School Diploma or GED required

The actual amount may be higher or lower, based on non-discriminatory factors such as experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, shift differential, and location.
