Position: Physician Assistant

Job Description

• This position is for 2-3 days per week at a growing private family practice, with potential to be full-time in the future if the candidate desires.
• Provider will take weekend call in a rotating schedule with other staff providers.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care under the supervision of a physician
• Conduct physical examinations and medical histories
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as medical imaging
• Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses and injuries
• Prescribe medications and other treatments
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans
• Educate patients and their families about medical conditions, treatment options, and preventive measures
• Participate in public health initiatives and community outreach programs

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in a related field
• Successful completion of an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Current state licensure as a Physician Assistant
• More than 2 years of experience in a clinical setting preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities
• Proficiency in data management and electronic health records systems

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $108,000.00 - $119,000.00 per year

Expected hours: 20 - 30 per week
