We are currently looking to add to our HR team a experienced Human Resource professional for the role of Payroll and Benefits Specialist. The Payroll and Benefits Specialist will provide human resources support for the organization, the employees and the Human Resources Team. In this role, the Payroll and Benefits Specialist will partner with the organization to provide policy and procedure implementation, payroll and benefits administration, employee relations, workforce management, HRIS management and performance management.
More specifically, the Payroll and Benefits Specialist will be responsible for:
- Processing bi-weekly payroll for multiple companies.
- Recording and calculating payroll changes and deductions, entering new hires into ADP Workforce Now payroll system, auditing timekeeping records to ensure accuracy, maintain HRIS and data integrity, provide technical support and generate reports.
- Updating and maintaining employee payroll and benefit records.
- Ensuring compliance with benefit practices, laws and regulations.
- Managing 401k/403b enrollments and changes.
- Acting in lead capacity for Open Enrollment.
Position Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Management, Psychology or a related field required.
- Three (3) + years of Payroll and Benefit Administrations experience required.
- One (1) + year of ADP Workforce Now experience required.
- Healthcare or non-profit experience helpful.
- Demonstrated ability for being outgoing and friendly.
- Excellent communication skills, including verbal and written skills.
- Demonstrated attention to detail.
- CPP, FPC, HRCI or SHRM certifications preferred.
