Yamaha has an excellent opportunity for a Parts & Accessories Sales Supervisor to join our Marine team in Kennesaw, GA. In this role you will be responsible for phone sales activities related to all Yamaha Watercraft parts and accessory sales to dealers. Also supports the development and distribution of P&A related products.
What you'll be doing:
- Supervise the administration of Yamaha’s sales distribution network with international and OE customers as well as US based dealer network. Develop and maintain strong business ties with those customers to support our global distribution strategy.
- Assist international affiliates and dealers in organizing and creating program orders in order to maximize wholesale and retail sales to their fullest potential. Work to achieve established sales and performance goals to meet department objectives and secure periodic incentive bonuses.
- Work as an avenue of communication between international/OE/US dealers and customers and Yamaha to ensure a mutual understanding of the business condition and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction. This would include contributing to the monthly internal sales reports.
- Supervise ISR’s to achieve targets set by National Sales Manager, including achieving goals and distributing reports to show attainment goals for programs and monthly budgets.
- Work in a team environment with District Managers to oversee ISR’s are working well with them to achieve targets and budgeted numbers.
- Attend off-site functions in support of Yamaha and Yamaha dealers, as needed.
- Manage inventory control/sales support staff in their duties to maintain proper availability of kit products and timely billing, collection, and customer maintenance.
- Develop and approve manual discounts and program exchanges to support sales and inventory strategies for dealers and international customers.
What you need to be successful:
- High school education required, college degree desired.
- Two years of International inside sales and motorsports experience required. Dealership experience a plus.
- Experience in leading and directing a staff highly desirable.
- Excellent verbal / written communication skills and exemplary customer services skills required. Ability to effectively communication employee issues with Assistant Department Mgr.
- Strong MS Office Application experience (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
- Position requires approximately 5 to 10% travel.
- Fluency in Spanish a plus
- Able to work effectively in a team environment
- Maintain a high level of knowledge of all accessories and apparel offered for each product line
