Packaging Production Artist
Our agency client has an immediate need for a REMOTE Packaging Production Artist! This freelance assignment starts as soon as we've found the ideal candidate, and will continue (40 hours per week) into 2025.

Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented Packaging Production Artist to join our creative team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating and preparing packaging designs for consumer packaged goods, ensuring high quality and accuracy throughout the production process.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare print mechanicals for production, ensuring all files are print-ready and accurate.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including marketing, product development, and external vendors to ensure packaging meets specifications.
• Review and approve digital proofs to ensure color accuracy and adherence to design standards.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in packaging design and print production.

Qualifications

• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
• Experience in packaging design and preparation of print mechanicals.
• Knowledge of consumer packaged goods (CPG) industry standards.
• Familiarity with prepress processes and print production techniques.
• Strong attention to detail with a focus on color accuracy and graphic design principles.
