Organizational Change Management Consultant

Are you a seasoned organizational change consultant looking to join a company with a mission to transform the way utilities operate? We’re looking for a organizational change consultant to support the development, implementation, and delivery of best practice change management strategies and plans that maximize employee adoption of new ways of working while minimizing resistant behaviors from impacted employees and stakeholders. This includes change assessment, risk assessment and mitigation, strategic stakeholder engagement and communications, and training enablement. By driving adoption, the Organizational Change Consultant’s goal is ultimately to increase benefit realization, value creation, ROI, and the achievement of our clients’ desired results and outcomes

E Source is a solutions-based consulting, research and advisory, and data science firm that’s been a change agent in the utility industry for over 30 years.

What you’ll do:

• Apply a structured methodology when executing change management activities

• Apply change management process and tools to support adoption

• Execute engagement plans and support communication efforts

• Coordinate and conduct change assessment

• Assess change readiness, impact, and effectiveness

• Design and develop enablement programs for skill development

• Coordinate with project PMO’s and Scrum Masters to align timelines, dependencies, and deliverables

Additional responsibilities may include:

• Leverage best practice change assessment instruments
• Identify, analyze and prepare risk mitigation recommendations
• Develop a resistance mitigation strategy
• Create deliverables for OCM strategy milestones
• Coach change agents
• Contribute insight for organizational design, job descriptions, roles, and responsibilities
• Track and report progress and challenges

 What will make you a good fit:

• At least 3 years of experience in applying change management principles, methodologies, and tools
• At least 3 years of general consulting or industry experience.
• Experience with large-scale organizational change efforts such as
  • Technology Modernization & Adoption
  • Operating Model
  • Business Process Optimization
• Preferred to have Industry-recognized or accredited OCM Certification (APMG, CCMP, Prosci, etc.)
• Strong analytic skills and ability to provide insight into project progress
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Bachelor’s degree in organizational behavior science, industrial psychology, business, or related field of study
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite of products, including Visio and SharePoint

Preferred Skills/Experience:

• Familiarity with Agile SaFe software development methods and practices is a plus
• Change Management experience in the utility industry is preferred
• Ability to design and develop documentation templates for reuse

The budgeted salary for this position is $75,00 - $125,000 USD + annual bonus up to 12% (depending on level). Actual pay will be adjusted based on experience.

This role will require travel as required by our client and project events.
