Job Summary
Supports the establishment of an Enterprise Service Desk, including the development of necessary documentation, the setup of lab space to facilitate operations requirements, and the provision of operations support to end users.
Travel is required.
Responsibilities and Duties
Monitors system status using available situational awareness capabilities to identify potential user issues that may occur. Monitor C2IE for Authorized Service Interruptions (ASI) and System Event activities impacting user operations. Performs advanced analysis on trouble tickets and supports triage and troubleshoots support. Coordinates with Mobile User Objective System (MUOS) O/I Level personnel on potential root causes and fixes actions. Coordinates and performs provisioning/terminal characterization testing when necessary. Develops/updates fault tree diagrams based on issues experienced. Attends FRBs and provides “User Experience” input for designated failures. Provides technical documentation as required. Develops metrics and trends on common issues to support improved troubleshooting across the enterprise. Supports user CONOP/CONEMP planning efforts to maximize the effectiveness of MUOS capability.
Qualifications and Skills
Required knowledge and years of experience
Must have at least five (5) years of experience supporting/operating tactical communications systems. Experience performing SATCOM planning, provisioning, operations, and troubleshooting is preferred. Must have demonstrated knowledge of MUOS operations support, including provisioning and operating functional terminals and performing troubleshooting. Candidate must have strong written and oral communication skills. Should be skilled with all Microsoft Office products.
Education Requirements
Bachelor's Degree, preferred.

CompTIA Network +, CompTIA Security +

Salary
The minimum salary starts at $110,000, and the max is negotiable based on experience.
