How to Qualify:
Clinical Support Tech I
- High School diploma or GED.
- Listed as Nurse Aide I Registry with the North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider certification.
- Requires six (6) months of clerical or customer service experience.
Clinical Support Tech II
- High School diploma or GED.
- Listed as Nursing Assistant II with the North Carolina Board of Nursing.
- Listed as Nursing Assistant I with the North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider certification.
- Requires one (1) year of clerical or customer service experience and three (3) months of nursing assistant experience.
Nursing Assistant I
- Listed as Nursing Assistant I with the North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider certification.
- Prefer six (6) months of nursing assistant experience.
Nursing Assistant II
- High School diploma or GED.
- Listed as Nursing Assistant II with the North Carolina Board of Nursing.
- Listed as Nursing Assistant I with the North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider certification.
- Six (6) months related nursing assistant experience.
RN New Graduate Registered Nurse
- Graduation from a school of professional nursing
- If hired after January 6, 2014, must be enrolled within. four years of employment, and obtain a Bachelor’s degree with a major in Nursing or a Master's degree with a major in Nursing within seven years of employment date.
- Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of North Carolina by the day of clinical care.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider certification.
RN Clinical Nurse II
- Graduation from a school of professional nursing.
- If hired after January 6, 2014, must be enrolled within four years of employment, and obtain a Bachelor's degree with a major in Nursing or a Master's degree with a major in Nursing within seven years of employment date.
- Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of North Carolina.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider certification.
- One (1) year of nursing experience.
RN Care Manager
- Graduation from a state-accredited school of professional nursing.
- If hired after January 6, 2014, must be enrolled within four years of employment, and obtain a Bachelor's degree with a major in Nursing or a Master's degree with a major in Nursing within seven years of employment date.
- Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of North Carolina.
- Two (2) years of health care experience as a Registered Nurse.
Surgical Tech I
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider certification.
- Graduation from an accredited Surgical Technology or Nursing program; or graduate of a Military Training Program in Surgical Technology; or formal education/training may be substituted for individuals with 3+ years of prior experience as a surg tech.
Surgical Tech II
- High School Diploma or GED or graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology or Nursing program or graduate of a Military Training Program in Surgical Technology; or formal education/training may be substituted for individuals with 5+ years of experience as a surgical tech.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider certification.
- Minimum of 3 years OR experience required.
- Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) through The National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting or Tech in Surgery (TS-C) through The National Center of Competency Testing preferred.
